LFI2011_WebLogoWith the tradeshow floor 99 percent sold-out, LIGHTFAIR International (LFI) is focused on building and strengthening the offerings in its four unique pavilions on the show floor. A focal point for this development is the Building Integration Pavilion, which launched with great success last year in Las Vegas and debuts this year on the East Coast at the Philadelphia Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The tradeshow and conference is scheduled for May 17-19, 2011.

Centered around one of the timeliest and most relevant industry topics, the Building Integration Pavilion will feature companies displaying solutions and products used to maximize and create energy-efficient buildings. LFI has tapped and secured several leaders on the forefront of building intelligence and integration.

The most recent addition is first-time LFI exhibitor Honeywell. Honeywell will be among other leaders in energy-efficient solutions, including Dial, Crestron Advanced Power Control, and Eagle Lighting, showcasing their solutions as featured exhibitors in the Building Integration Pavilion.

Further highlighting this pertinent topic for the lighting, design, and architectural industries is the Integrated Design seminar track as part of the LFI Conference program. This seminar track was launched in 2010 and focuses on integrated design and building procedures and the participation of the lighting design community in these processes.

The Building Integration Pavilion is one of four featured pavilions—all which continue to be integral components of the tradeshow floor and the industry as a whole. They are:

Global Light + Design Pavilion, presents the world’s finest decorative lighting solutions from internationally recognized manufacturers based outside of the U.S.

Daylighting Pavilion, the tradeshow counterpart to LFI’s Daylighting Institute (May 15-16, 2011), focuses on architectural daylighting, daylight harvesting, energy efficiency and conservation, solar shading, and natural light.

Design Pavilion, showcases modern and classic decorative designs with a creative edge and innovative style.

The companies, solutions, and technology highlighted in each pavilion together create a comprehensive showcase of the industry’s most significant topics and the future of lighting.
