Optiglass-bGreen-LogoOptiglass PC, LLC, a plastics sheet and film supplier, has expanded its bGREEN recycling program to include cardboard and metals. The nationwide, full-service recycling program was initially launched for the removal and recycling of industrial plastic polycarbonate and acrylic sheet drop and scrap.

“The expansion of bGREEN is a result of our client’s needs for waste minimization,” said Rick Filiault, president of Optiglass PC. “We are continually seeing an increase in the demand for waste removal. It’s not just plastic anymore; they are taking a serious look at what other materials can be recycled.”

The expansion of bGREEN provides clients with a timely and efficient manner to remove, recycle, and recap equity on a wide variety of waste materials including corrugated boxes, pallets, corner of pallets, and plastic wrap. The program enables clients to maintain the best Environmental Health & Safety ratings while keeping waste out of landfills. As part of the expanded program, bGREEN offers onsite service where a representative works in-house at a client’s site handling its recycling services.

bGREEN provides clients with bins or containers for depositing recycling waste. Once filled, the bins are routinely swapped out either on-demand, or through a scheduled replacement cycle. The waste material is then brought to Optiglass PC’s facility where it is weighed, segregated, and inventoried until processed. A settlement report is then sent to the client with gross and net weights. Participants of bGREEN are issued a check within 30 business days.
