The International Sign Association (ISA) and the National Association of Sign Supply Distributors (NASSD), two of the sign industry’s leading trade associations, have teamed up to deliver additional benefits and services to sign supply distributors. Both organizations will remain separate entities, with their own bylaws and governance.

Brandon Hensley, ISA’s vice president of tradeshow and marketing, has been named NASSD’s executive director. He will continue in his role with ISA.

ISA-logo-b“This new alliance makes sense as distributors serve an important role in the sign industry and I’m confident that this will only strengthen both organizations,” said Lori Anderson, ISA’s president and CEO. “Brandon’s expertise in trade show planning and marketing will be a benefit to NASSD, which has its own successful annual events. By coordinating our efforts, we can ensure that the entire sign industry continues to play a strong role in our businesses and communities.”

NASSD will incorporate its annual spring meeting with ISA’s Suppliers and Distributors Conference (SDC) to be held June 6-8 in Itasca, Illinois. NASSD will continue to have its annual Executive Summit in the fall. It will be held November 12-15 in Miami.

“It is a natural fit for NASSD and ISA to collaborate for the advancement of the issues common to both associations. NASSD is dedicated to promoting the value that sign supply distributors provide to the industry and ISA is the perfect partner to help further that message,” said Victor Lebow III, president of NASSD.

“NASSD serves as a strong voice for distributors in the sign industry and their representatives are out in the field each day, interacting with sign companies,” Hensley said. “There are many common interests in government regulations and sign code issues as well as educational opportunities.”
