Harbinger Sign has hired eleven new employees to help meet growing demand for the company’s patented LED Retrofit Kit and to support the new national call center for sign maintenance. The new members working at Harbinger’s Jacksonville location, include: Michelle Bourne, accounts payable; Jill Cerverizzo, project manager; Paul Charles, project manager; Makenzie Choate, human resources manager; Erin Hall, project coordinator; Rob McLevy, shipping/logistics; Lisa Petrine, project manager; and Chana Stoddard Saavedra, graphic designer. The new members at the Dallas location are: Megan Bird, project coordinator; Michael Hopens, graphic designer; and Liz Nicolet, project manager.

Inca Digital has opened its new manufacturing facility and head office in Cambridge. The new site provides larger and improved support, training, clean-room, and stores facilities with scope for future growth. Inca was keen on preserving its Cambridge roots, not only because the city is a key centre of inkjet knowledge and expertise, but also to maintain the close links that Inca has established with Cambridge University and other inkjet technology groups.

MagX America has relocated its headquarters to Mt. Adams in Cincinnati, Ohio. The new state-of-the-art facilities will allow MagX to better server its clients’ needs.

Nazdar SourceOne has hired Nikki Sochor as digital consumables specialist. She will focus on and respond to the digital consumable needs of printers in the southern California region supported by the Garden Grove location. Nikki brings seven years of sales and product marketing experience to Nazdar SourceOne. She previously worked at Straub Distributing, Calcomp Graphic Solutions, and Hexis USA.

OKI Data Americas announces a strategic partnership with CMIT Solutions® to provide a standardized, comprehensive business model of Managed IT Network and Managed Print Services. CMIT will incorporate OKI Data’s revolutionary Total Managed Print™ solution and portal into CMIT’s portfolio of services. The offering will be marketed as “CMIT Print powered by OKI.” The alliance will allow CMIT’s local partners to offer an unprecedented suite of IT and Managed Print Services specifically designed for small businesses, and represents a significant partnership for OKI Data in the small business realm.

Roland DGA Corp. has appointed Rachel Hammer as rotary product manager. She previously worked for Fusion of Ideas and California Parks and Recreation Department. Marc Malkin joins Roland as PR representative/copywriter, and he brings more than 15 years of agency and corporate PR and advertising experience to his new position. Ron Kienast has been promoted to manager of purchasing and distribution. He will be responsible for the company’s purchasing department operation. He started with Roland in 1999 as warehouse supervisor and most recently served as Roland’s distribution manager.

Signs By Tomorrow has opened two new franchises in Durham, North Carolina and Fort Worth, Texas. The Durham franchise is owned by Toni Rich, a 20-year veteran of marketing and visual communications. The Forth Worth franchise is helmed by Bobby Boliew, who has more than 18 years of experience in the sign and graphics industry. He recently served as general manager for three Texas locations of an international sign company. In addition, Art Macauley recently took over as the new owner at Signs By Tomorrow Marlton, New Jersey. Macauley has extensive experience in executive management, business development, and sales, and he has also served as production manager at Avery Dennison.
