ImageOne Impact Donates to “Fresh Artists” Print Studio

FreshArtists interns

FreshArtists internsImageOne Impact honored the request for a donation of a MANO Press Clear Grommet Press and Clear Grommets to The Fresh Artists Print Studio which is a teaching workshop where they have kids from Philadelphia high-schools as interns, producing the large format digital prints that they donate to inner city soup kitchens, Red Cross emergency shelters and shelters for abused children and women. The kids are using state-of-the-art digital latex and inkjet printers, scanners, and a laminator donated by various companies.

“Your grommet setters are the best in the industry, we’ve been told. We have a lot of calls for banners from the charities we serve and need this essential piece of equipment so the kids can do this safely and efficiently,” says Barbara C. Allen, founder & executive director of Fresh Artists. “I hope you will help the kids by making a gift to them of this key equipment. We are serious in our efforts to introduce these kids to careers in the sign and large format digital print industry and need partners like you to help us provide marketable job skills to these deserving youngsters.”

About Fresh Artists

Fresh Artists is a nonprofit organization that promotes access for all children to the transformative self-expression of art making and philanthropy. Fresh Artists is an innovative concept of student-centric philanthropy. Children create art, donate images, and meet their financial benefactors in highly visible “corporate spaces of success.” Fresh Artists is a new model of civic engagement where recipients of corporate generosity, the children, are full and equal partners in the common goal: to save access to art making for all children.
