New Partnership Brings Strength of the Imaging Industry to Popular Pro Imaging Golf Event

Pro Imaging and SGIA recently announced their new partnership, coinciding with the event’s thirtieth anniversary. Teaming with SGIA will allow organizers to expand educational offerings, provide greater leverage in booking new venues, and turn up the volume on an already stellar event.

Pro Imaging Golf Championship & Expo is the premier education and golfing event for the imaging industry. The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) is the predominant trade association for the graphics and garment imaging industry. Both organizations have a legacy of creating fellowship and fruitful relationships across the industry with their events.

As Pro Imaging host, Toren Prawdzik states, “The event has gone through a lot of transition over the years but we really feel like we have ‘arrived’ with our partnership with SGIA. Having the SGIA name associated with the event will allow us to attract even more robust educational opportunities. We expect to cap sponsors at no more than twenty, to keep the event intimate and promote networking and fellowship.”

The soon-to-be-released dates and location will be revealed at a cohosted celebration during SGIA Expo, Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“This co-branding and new, deeper involvement allows SGIA to extend our reach even further outside our large-venue Exposition. We see it as a great opportunity to promote more engagement with owners across a variety of markets and in a venue that allows high quality exchange of ideas,” says SGIA President and CEO Ford Bowers.

Sponsors of the 2017 tournament include: DreamScape Wall Coverings, Durst US, EFI, Felix Schoeller, Fuji Film North America, Hart Consulting Services, Inside Plastics, Poli Pro USA, Quality Media & Laminating, and Verseidag Seemee US.

With the new partnership, the 2017 Pro Imaging & SGIA Golf Championship is poised to be the biggest and most successful yet. To learn more or read about last year’s event, visit www.proimagingexpo.com or www.sgia.org.
