Digital Printing Pros Converge at Dscoop Edge St. Louis

More than 1,100 digital printing pros are connecting and learning this week at the Dscoop Edge St. Louis World Expo. The “gateway to growth” is underway at the America’s Center in downtown St. Louis.

Dscoop’s flagship conference (May 7-10) unites a growing number of print mavericks around the world who want to learn new strategies, discover new tools and technologies, meet new partners, and have fun together. About one-third of Edge St. Louis attendees are first-timers at the annual event.

Dscoop Connections are Global & Meaningful

Dscoop is the largest digital print community in the world, with more than 16,000 HP Industrial digital press owners and their teams across more than 100 countries. That global reach of Dscoop is literally on stage this week, with members from around the world sharing powerful stories of collaboration across borders, segments and technologies.

“The community and camaraderie of Dscoopers across the globe makes this event unique—the level of idea-sharing and support here is already off the charts,” says Dscoop Executive Director Peter van Teeseling. “Dscoop’s year-round events and programs are like a power cord, and we love when printers plug into them to gain new ideas and new ways to advance.”

To that end, Dscoop Edge St. Louis is designed to give attendees take-away strategies based on the experiences of colleagues and the insight of sales, marketing, and technology experts. It features sixty-five presentations and panel discussions over seven different tracks.

Dscoop Edge St. LouisNew Tools and Tech to Guide the Future of Print

Dscoop Edge St. Louis attendees are looking for ways to innovate, automate, and dominate, and they’re talking with more than sixty Dscoop partners in the event’s Solutions Showcase.

Many of those partners brought equipment to St. Louis and are running live applications and demonstrations. For the first time in North America, industry pros are seeing the HP Indigo 200K Digital Press in action, and learning about how the technology is boosting speed and productivity in the packaging market.

They’re also learning about the launch of the Dscoop Distributed Print Exchange platform, which will streamline the outsourcing of digital print jobs to trusted partners. The platform, being developed in conjunction with the HP PrintOS Site Flow team, can help printers expand the products they offer and geographies they serve while also reducing the time, costs and carbon used during product delivery.

“The global Dscoop community has an impressive history of looking forward instead of backward,” says Kyle Pendley of the Arizona State University Print and Imaging Lab, and Dscoop Edge St. Louis Conference Chair. “Even as our companies face big challenges, we do whatever it takes to continually learn, connect, and advance. That’s the awesome spirit of Dscoop!

“And over the next few days, that’s the incredible value of bringing our hearts and minds together here in St. Louis.”
