Gina Wicker Named Design and Creative Director for Glen Raven Custom Fabrics – Americas
Glen Raven, North Carolina—Gina Wicker, Director of Design for Glen Raven Custom Fabrics – Americas, has been promoted to Design and Creative Director. In her new position, Wicker will continue to direct Sunbrella® fabric design, while also managing creative elements in Glen Raven’s marketing communications programs (including photography, advertising, collateral, Web site design, sample books, and custom sampling programs).
“Gina is assuring that we follow a cohesive and highly creative approach for all of the elements supporting the Sunbrella brand and our other products, from fabric design through marketing communications,” said Hal Hunnicutt, Vice President of Marketing for Glen Raven Custom Fabrics – Americas. “Gina has brought strong leadership to our fabric design group, and we look forward to her bringing this same energy to our creative marketing communications.”
Wicker, who has served as Design Director for Glen Raven for five years, has more than twenty years’ experience in textile design. She earned a bachelor’s degree in textile design from N.C. State University and a master’s of business administration degree from Duke University.
