Five Industry Leaders Join ISA Board of Directors
Alexandria, Virginia—The International Sign Association (ISA), the sign industry’s leading trade association, is pleased to announce six new members will join its twenty-eight-member board of directors to lead the organization in 2010. In addition, four current members assume new roles on ISA’s executive committee.
“Each of the members of the board is successful in leadership roles in their individual companies,” said ISA President and CEO Lori Anderson. “Their commitment to the industry not only is proven by the longevity in the field, but also by their willingness to serve the 2,600 members of ISA. I am confident that this new team of leaders will play a crucial role in continuing to develop the professionalism of the sign industry and be advocates on the issues that face us.”
The new board members are:

* Scott Gardner, Gardner Signs, Inc., Troy, Mich.
* Melanee Jech, The Icon Companies, Elk Grove Village, Ill.
* Robert Mattatall, Mattatall Signs Limited, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
* Thomas Pistorius, Bendsen Signs & Graphics, Decatur, Ill.
The board of directors’ executive committee is comprised of members who are industry leaders and have also served the ISA and its members for years. They are:

Vice Chairman of the Board: John Allen, Allen Industries, Greensboro, N.C.
Secretary/Treasurer: Duane Laska, North Shore Sign Company, Libertyville, Ill.

ISA President and CEO Lori Anderson serves as staff liaison to the Executive Committee.
