Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision™ Systems Division Names New Regional Sales Manager

Warrendale, Pennsylvania—Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc., has named David Belding as regional sales manager for its Diamond Vision™ Systems Division. Belding will be responsible for the sales of Diamond Vision display systems throughout the western United States and Canada.

“I’m delighted to be back with Diamond Vision and look forward to many more successful years withMitsubishi Electric,” said Belding, who had been with the company for thirteen years before taking a short hiatus. “Diamond Vision is recognized as the best in the industry. No one comes close in terms of quality and service, and it’s exciting to represent the leader.”

“Dave has more than twenty years of experience in large-scale video displays, and he will be a key asset in the continuing growth of our company,” said Diamond Vision Systems General Manager Mark Foster.  “Dave has a long history of demonstrating his commitment to our customers, and making sure they get the technology that fits their specific needs. It’s good to have him back.”

A pioneer in the development of large-scale video displays, Mitsubishi Electric installed the first Diamond Vision in the United States for the 1980 Major League Baseball All Star Game. In the last two years, Mitsubishi Electric has installed eighty-five Diamond Vision displays in professional and collegiate sports facilities, and for advertising, entertainment and communications in venues throughout North America. Recent installations include the world’s largest high-definition display at Turner Field in Atlanta; Times Square’s first high-definition display at MTV studios; traffic-stopping marquees at Bally’s and Caesars Palace in Las Vegas; a massive eleven-screen display on Times Square in New York City; and the largest indoor high-definition screen in North America—the 34-by-110-foot screen at the Colosseum in Las Vegas.
