Alan Weinstein Named Director of Marketing for Sign Supply USA and East West Plastics
Pompano, Beach, Florida—Alan Weinstein has joined Sign Supply USA and East West Plastics as Director of Marketing. In this role, Weinstein will be responsible for developing and guiding the company's strategic marketing efforts at both the branch and corporate level and integrating the North American product portfolio.
Sign Supply USA is a full-service distributor focused on serving the sign and graphics industries. Continuing with this model, they recently joined forces with East West Plastics, based in Toronto to create a strong North American presence. They deliver in their own trucks from their more than twenty locations across the United States and Canada.
“Our plan is to have Sign Supply USA and East West Plastic fully integrated this year. In order to accomplish this we need someone who understands the sign industry and the products. Alan’s wealth of product, promotion, and sign industry experience will be crucial in helping us make the impact on an industry that is already saturated with distributors,” said John Stevens, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “We will be heavily relying on his ability to identify new marketing opportunities and to form synergistic vendor relationships."
A graduate of Northeastern University, Weinstein holds a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, as well as an MBA from the University of Hartford. He has over fifteen years of sales and marketing experience in the industry beginning his career with Rexam Graphics (now InteliCoat.) From there he spearheaded the successful launch of the Avery Graphics brand of vinyl for the newly created Graphics division of Avery Dennison and helped to grow it into one of the top brands in the sign industry.
