Signarama Contracted by ABC to Produce All Signage for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Hattiesburg, Mississippi—Signarama, the world’s largest sign franchise, was selected by ABC-TV to produce all wayfinding and site signs (as well as all banners) for the recent filming of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition December 3-10 in Hattiesburg. The program will air in February.
In just two weeks, Signarama-Hattiesburg produced 61 18-by-24 coro signs and seven banners for the show as well as many banners and vehicle graphics for local vendors involved in the home-building and show’s production.
“It was a hectic couple weeks, but we were able to produce the signs for ABC quickly from digital prints,” said Alice Staten, owner of Signarama-Hattiesburg. “It was wonderful to help our community come together in support of such an amazing cause for a local family.”
Signarama-Hattiesburg is currently working with the production crew to create some permanent signs that will travel to other film sites for their “Art World” tent. The show provides tools and a staging area for local artists to design unique pieces for each house.
