AgiLight Inc. Promotes Barton and Vincent to Sales Leadership Positions, Adds Nash as Technical Product Manager
San Angelo, Texas—AgiLight Inc., an innovative developer of high-quality, low-energy lighting technologies and products for commercial signage and architectural applications, today announced that it has promoted Jeff Barton and Blake Vincent to sales leadership positions and named Edward Nash to the newly created position of technical product manager. Barton is now sales manager, and Vincent is now business development manager. They will all report to AgiLight President Ron Wallace.

As AgiLight’s sales manager, Jeff Barton is now responsible for the company’s domestic sales activities. He will manage the North American sales team, including AgiLight’s company-employed territory managers, as well as the Yorston & Associates manufacturers’ rep group. He will also work closely with AgiLight’s customer support group as he and the territory managers develop their respective territories to full potential. Barton will also be responsible for new account acquisition plans, product pricing, sales forecasting, and sales policy and procedure development.
Prior to this promotion, Barton was a territory manager at AgiLight, covering the Southeastern region. He previously held sales and executive management positions with Acme Display & Sign Co. and served as COO of Folio Inc., both of Dallas, Texas. He holds a BBA degree in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
As AgiLight’s business development manager, Blake Vincent is now responsible for the company’s strategic development of new markets. As such, he is company’s point person in rolling out AgiLight’s distribution partners and will be responsible for large-scale national account development and management. Vincent will also address appropriate international opportunities and potential strategic alliances with other sign industry entities.
Prior to this promotion, Vincent was territory manager in the central region and managed national accounts at AgiLight. He previously held business development and managerial positions with Compass Bank of Dallas and Town & Country Food Stores of Lubbock, Texas. He holds a BA degree in Business Administration from Angelo State University.
New to AgiLight is Edward Nash, who comes to the company from Actown Electrocoil Inc. of Spring Grove, Illinois. Nash joins AgiLight as technical product manager, where he will be responsible for market research, developing new product strategies, management of new products, and more. He was previously product manager at Actown, where he had worked since the 1990s in a variety of product, sales and management positions. Prior to that, he was a tech support specialist with Life Fitness Inc. of Franklin Park, Illinois, and a field engineer with Atlas Copco of Lake Zurich, Illinois. He also served in the U.S. Air Force. He holds an MBA from Webster University, and a BS degree in Business Administration from Columbia College.
AgiLight will continue to expand its sales teams under the direction of Barton and Vincent.
