MultiCam, Inc. Introduces MultiCam EZ Control
Irving, Texas—MultiCam LP, a Texas-based global leader in CNC cutting technology, announces EZ Control, a state-of-the-art motion control system that is at the heart of each MultiCam Router, Plasma, Laser, Waterjet, and Knife cutting system. EZ Control includes a keypad interface, electronics, and EZ Suite software V.4. Based on the AMD SC520 microprocessor, EZ control features a 32- bit/133MHz CPU coupled with powerful 64-bit motion algorithms. EZ Control supports linear, circular, helical and smooth curve interpolation.
MultiCam engineers designed EZ Control with one goal in mind—simplify running a CNC machine to the point that anyone can make a CNC part. The user interface is intuitive, takes a few minutes of training to learn and brings a new and vastly more simplified level of user ease to CNC machining.
