R-Wear Studio Apparel Design Software Included with Select Roland EGX Engravers
Irvine, California—Roland R-Wear Studio software makes it easy to design beautiful custom apparel and gifts—and now this powerful software package is included with select EGX engravers free of charge for customers across North and South America.
“R-Wear Studio transforms an EGX rotary engraver into an efficient, easy-to-use production device for premium rhinestone apparel applications,” said Rick Rivera, product manager for Roland. “Rhinestones add style, sophistication and value to virtually any apparel item or accessory, and Roland’s EGX R-Wear solutions include everything needed to create these profitable fashion items.”
Combining precision, reliability and ease of use, Roland EGX engravers support applications ranging from engraved ADA signage to custom badges, nameplates, key rings, jewelry, gift items, and glassware. When paired with R-Wear Studio, EGX engravers can also be used to create templates for rhinestone apparel and gift items.
For rhinestone apparel applications, R-Wear Studio allows users to create their own designs or import designs from a wide range of file formats including bmp, jpg, gif, png, and ai and eps for Adobe Illustrator 7 and 8. Within R-Wear Studio, users can generate stroke fonts for customized inscriptions featuring initials, names and messages. The software also features a large library of 500 hot-fix rhinestones that match the different colors, sizes and types available on the market. Costs are displayed for each job, making it easy to calculate profits and manage rhinestone inventories.
Roland engravers that include R-Wear Studio free of charge include the EGX-350 desktop engraver, the EGX PRO series (EGX-400/600) of benchtop engravers, and the EGX-360 rotary gift engraver. Each produces crisp text and clear graphics with unmatched power and precision on a wide range of materials. The EGX-360 rotary gift engraver creates complex designs on curved, cylindrical, domed, flat and irregular surfaces including glass, acrylics, woods, laminates, and metals. The Roland EGX line also includes the entry level EGX-30A engraver, which can be upgraded with R-Wear Studio at an additional cost of $499.
In addition to supporting the EGX line, R-Wear Studio can be purchased separately to support Roland’s GX series of vinyl cutters and VersaCAMM inkjet printer line for custom apparel applications including heat transfers, vinyl lettering, decals, labels, and more.
