FASTSIGNS® MetamorphoSIGN Contest is Back

FASTSIGNS International, Inc., the franchisor of the more than 535 FASTSIGNS® centers worldwide, is hosting their second MetamorphoSIGN program, the online contest that gives businesses and organizations a chance to win one of three free visual communications makeovers this summer.

“Visual communications encompass the signs, graphics, displays, promotional, and marketing materials that are used by a business or organization and are critical to their identity, as well as to their success,” said Drue Townsend, senior VP of Marketing for FASTSIGNS International, Inc. “Clearly communicating through effective visual marketing helps to achieve business objectives, while extending the look and feel of a brand. Every organization has a story to tell and this contest gives us a fun way to reach out to others and help tell it.”

Winners will be chosen by the online world through a round of voting. During this year’s MetamorphoSIGN contest, three makeovers will be awarded to organizations in three different categories:

  • One makeover of up to $10,000 will be awarded to a traditional brick and mortar business.
  • One makeover of up to $5,000 will be awarded to a non-profit organization 501(3)(c).
  • One makeover of up to $5,000 will be awarded to a vehicle-based business.

“We are excited to host this contest again, and to implement what we learned last year,” said Townsend. “This year we have built a new microsite, have improved the user experience, and have made it easier for entrants to promote their entry via social media. Our hope is that communities will get involved by voting for their local businesses and organizations that are in need of a makeover.”

Beginning July 16, businesses and organizations interested in being considered for the makeovers can go to to submit their entry, which requires a 250-word write-up about why they need a transformation, as well as a “before” photo. The makeover entry submission period lasts through August 10. Entries will be voted on during a two-week period from August 20 to August 31; the entry in each category that receives the most votes will be the winner and will be announced on September 20.
