New Appointments: August 2011

FDC Graphic Films, Inc. has hired Daniel Stretch as sales manager. He will be responsible for the company's overall sales effort in the US and Canada. Stretch has previous experience in training, marketing, and distribution. FDC has also hired Andrew Jones to manage the Western Sales Territory, including Midwest and Western states. Jones will manage existing accounts and develop new distribution for the company. He previously worked in distribution development for Kimoto Tech.

Halco Lighting Technologies
has promoted Sharon Akins to southeast regional sales manager. Akins will oversee sales and train and travel with independent agencies servicing Lighting and Electrical Distributors in seven southeastern states. Previously, she served as Account Manager for Halco, where she has worked since 2003. She has over 23 years of experience in sales/customer service.

NanoLumens® has appointed APG Displays, of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada as its exclusive Canadian distributor. APG Displays has two decades of experience supplying high impact display solutions throughout Canada.

Orbus Exhibit & Display Group has expanded its US presence by opening a new, full-service facility just outside of Las Vegas that will serve the Western US with faster and more economical shipping. The company anticipates providing greatly improved savings in time, transit, and shipping costs to clients located in Western states. With the new facility, Orbus will also be able to supply products and graphics to clients in the entire continental US in three days or less.

Rowmark LLC has completed a new 20,000-square foot expansion to its manufacturing facility in Findlay, Ohio. The additional 175-foot-by-75-foot facility houses a new 120-inch monster extrusion line called “The Beast.” The monster line broadens Rowmark’s sheet manufacturing capabilities and enables the production of larger custom sheet sizes for oversized signage projects.
