FUJIFILM has hired Jurgen Gruber to the Graphic Systems Division of FUJIFILM North America Corporation as the newspaper account manager for the company’s Southwest region. Gruber brings over 15 years of experience in sales management and newspaper technology to his new position. He previously worked as director of sales for NELA USA.
Inca Digital appointed Marq Prentice to director of Operations. Prentice heads up the operations team responsible for increasing productivity, reducing cost, and improving quality across the assembly processes. He brings over 25 years of experience in operations management to the position. Inca has also hired Mark Noble as senior customer support manager. He joins a team that is doubling in size to provide in-depth support to Inca users. Noble brings 16 years of experience in the graphics industry to his position.

MaxLite announces three new appointments. Pat Treadway has been promoted to director of product marketing. Treadway will be responsible for overall product strategic planning and will oversee product training and application engineering support. He previously served as MaxLite’s product marketing manager. James Steedly has been promoted to director of product R&D and engineering. He will provide technical leadership and create competitive cutting-edge lighting solutions while incorporating new ideas. He previously served as manager of product R&D and engineering for MaxLite. Douglas Kruse has been appointed to south central region sales manager. Kruse will work closely with MaxLite’s sales agencies to develop LED and other energy-efficient lighting programs. He will advance the brand presence of MaxLite in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Mississippi. He previously worked for Progress Lighting, Hunter Ceiling Fan Company, and Parlux Industries.
Nazdar SourceOne has appointed Glenn Shull to product manager. Shull will conduct market analyses to identify product and market opportunities for digital equipment that serve the needs of existing customers and develop new market segments. He most recently worked with Konica Minolta Business Systems. Mary Strafuss has also been appointed to product manager for graphic inks. She is responsible for developing and managing the portfolio of Nazdar screen inks and Lyson digital ink products. Strafuss previously worked at Rotary Brush Corporation, Embarq, and the Peavey Corporation.
