Ventex Technology Welcomes Vice President of Engineering

Ventex-ApptVentex Technology, Inc. today announced the appointment of Ted Blumstein as Vice President of Engineering. Blumstein’s extensive experience in Engineering Management and Product Development in the LED industry will lead Ventex toward new innovations in LED sign and architectural lighting technology.

Blumstein joins Ventex with over 15 years’ experience delivering creative solutions for challenges in LED, power supply and optical technologies. Most recently he served as Senior Electrical Engineer at Lighting Science Group, delivering custom solutions in the areas of LED lighting fixtures, light bulbs and power supplies. Prior to Lighting Science Group, in the position of Senior Engineer, he co-developed the first multi-phase LED backlight for LCD displays in general aviation aircraft. These and numerous other outside-of-the-box product ideas are the hallmark of Blumstein’s distinguished career. He holds the honor of graduating Magna Cum Laude, with a BSEE from the Citadel.
