MaxLite Introduces LED Round Flat Panel Pendant

MaxLite® introduces the LED Round Flat Panel Pendant, which recently received Lighting for Tomorrow’s Honorable Mention in the 2012 Solid-State Lighting (SSL) Residential Lighting Products Design Competition and has been added to the FlatMax™ family of LED Flat Panels. The LED Round Flat Panel Pendant can be cable-hung or surface mounted easily in offices, schools, car dealerships, medical facilities, hospitality and retail environments, and other spaces that demand sophistication.

“Our LED Round Pendant is an aesthetically pleasing, decorative fixture that delivers style, technology and functional lighting levels in a variety of applications,” said MaxLite’s Director of Product Marketing Pat Treadway. “Still very new to the industry, this award-winning fixture is receiving tremendous attention and we are excited to bring this product to the commercial and institutional markets.”

The energy conserving 45-watt contemporary styled pendant, with a thin profile that is less than three-inches, has a 24-inch round shape that traditional technologies cannot create. The LED Round Pendant features a high lumen output and efficacy, and is designed with an integral driver within the fixture for simple installation. Available in warm and cooler LED color temperatures, the fixture operates on 100- to 277-volt systems with full-range dimming capabilities. For additional energy savings, the LED Round Pendant is compatible with building control, motion sensor and daylight harvesting systems.

Proprietary binned LED chips, combined with the micro-surface optic incorporated diffuser, reduces glare and delivers even, shadow-free light distribution, and accurate color rendering. Constructed with a molded, enclosed housing and back panel, the LED Round Pendant is available in white or black architectural gloss finishes to suit any interior décor color palette.
