RolandAcademy_BootCampTo help Roland customers develop the skills they need to build their businesses, Roland Academy is offering its popular Digital Printing Boot Camp workshop for the first time on the East Coast. Scheduled for April 10-12 in Baltimore, Maryland. Digital Printing Boot Camp is offered to all Roland inkjet customers, with enrollment currently open and spaces filling up quickly.

“Digital Printing Boot Camp is an exciting, intensive training experience for sign industry professionals of all skill levels,” said Dana Curtis, product manager for Roland DGA Corp. “This course has been popular among our users, who gain new levels of technical expertise, up-to-date market analysis, and business management strategies they can implement immediately to further their own success.”

Led by large format digital printing expert David Goetter, Digital Printing Boot Camp is a three-day, hands-on workshop focused on teaching the ten core applications important to every digital print shop, including signage, floor graphics, backlit displays, window graphics, rigid displays, presentation boards, and more. In addition, attendees learn to accurately evaluate their cost structure, acquire trouble-shooting techniques, and explore a variety of waste reduction strategies to increase efficiency and profits.

Ideal for production managers, printer operators, shop managers, and sales representatives, the course provides a much needed competitive edge to meet the challenges of today’s fast-paced economy. Past attendees have reported that this class more than paid for itself within weeks, if not days.

“We were already doing these applications, but just not correctly,” said Alan Faria of Faria Printing and Graphics, located in Sacramento, California. “The class was worth every penny.”

Roland Academy serves as the education division of Roland DGA Corp., providing a wide range of training options for customers across the company’s product lines.

In addition to hands-on workshops, Roland Academy offers free weekly webinars, online video tutorials and a variety of support documents which are easily accessible to customers.
