USSC to Conduct Crane Certification & Rigging Classes

The United States Sign Council (USSC) will be conducting Crane Certification Classes at its 2013 Sign World International event in Atlantic City, New Jersey this December, as well as Rigging/Signaling Classes. Class participation is limited, so please register early.

Crane Certification:

* All operators of cranes that lift in excess of 2,000 pounds must be certified by November of 2014.
* Class & Testing Dates (includes class training, written tests, and practical tests): December 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7, 2013.
* Participants will receive a NCCCO certification card upon successful completion.
* Testing is on either a fixed or swing controls.  If a participant wishes to be tested on both types, an additional $250 will be charged for the second test.
* Location is Atlantic City Convention Center.
* All training aids and textbooks are included in fees.
* Fees do not include food or lodging.
* Participant must supply proof of Liability and Worker's Compensation insurance.
* Minimum of 12 participants. Full refund of monies if minimum is not met.
* Early bird registration by October 31, 2013.  Late fees apply after October 31.
* First to sign up are first to be tested.

Rigging & Signaling

All riggers & signalers are required to be compliant now.

* Class & Testing Dates (includes class training, written tests, and practical tests): December 6 & 7, 2013.
* Participants will receive an OSHA-compliant qualification card upon successful completion.
* Location is Atlantic City Convention Center.
* All training aids and textbooks included in fees.
* Fees do not include food or lodging.
* Participant must supply proof of Liability and Worker's Compensation insurance.
* Minimum of 20 participants. Full refund of monies if minimum not met.
* Early bird registration by October 31, 2013.  Late fees apply after October 31.
