InteliCoat Partners with InfoTrends for White Paper

InteliCoat Technologies®, a global market leader in the development and fulfillment of high performance digital imaging substrates, has announced the publication of InfoTrends “InteliCoat/Exopack: Positioning for the Future” white paper. Despite dramatic changes in the wide format digital print media business over the past ten years, the white paper details the strategic changes implemented by InteliCoat and its alignment with Exopack that have transformed InteliCoat’s business.

Authored by Tim Greene, the white paper uncovers the following key findings:

+ Partnerships like the one being established between InteliCoat Technologies and Exopack are a good example of how manufacturers are seeking ways to produce that can reduce costs while providing the high quality that its customers have become familiar with.

+ In today’s highly competitive wide format media market, InteliCoat Technologies is executing a production strategy that allows it to maintain its differentiation as a domestic producer while still providing critical operational advantages and cost savings.

+ InteliCoat is acutely aware of its customers’ perception that there will be some changes to product. This is not so; the exact same coating machine and the exact same coating formulations will be used in producing these products in Matthews, North Carolina.

“We are excited about this relationship, as it will enable us to continue to deliver the same, high-quality InteliCoat products for many years to come,” said Chris McInerney, president and CEO of InteliCoat Technologies. “We are confident InteliCoat’s intellectual property, marketing and branding competencies, combined with our precision coating expertise and multiple coating assets at the North Carolina campus, will accelerate our product development processes and shorten our time to market for new products.”
