Roland Fabrics 1

Roland Fabrics 1Roland DGA Corp. has introduced new SoftSign™ Woven Polyester, WallFlair™ Removable Fabric, and WallFlair™ Removable Vinyl to its extensive product lineup of certified media, further expanding the range of creative options available to users of its advanced large format printers.

Roland’s SoftSign Woven Polyester (pictured, left), composed of 100 percent polyester and specially coated for eco-solvent printers, is ideal for a variety of applications, including banners, P-O-P, and short-term outdoor signage. This premium fabric is perfect for tradeshow graphics too, as it’s significantly lighter than vinyl banner, allowing for reduced shipping costs. A durable material with a lustrous finish, SoftSign produces unsurpassed results when used with Roland’s state-of-the-art digital printing equipment. Its unique design and composition delivers prints that offer great color saturation, but dries fast for maximum productivity and efficiency. SoftSign™ is available in 30-inch-by-100-foot or 54-inch-by-100-foot rolls.

Roland Fabrics 2Roland has also added new fire-retardant WallFlair Removable Fabric (pictured, left) to its family of media offerings. A high-quality, affordably priced, 6.7-mil, 150-by-150 denier fabric with an adhesive back, WallFlair Removable Fabric is an excellent choice for enhancing indoor walls in office, retail or residential settings with colorful, vibrant graphics and effects.

“Our new Wall Flair Removable Fabric will be an extremely popular media for the interior décor market,” says Julie Gederos, product manager for Roland DGA Corp. “Not only does it have a great white point, but it also has improved opacity over many of the materials in this segment.  It offers print/cut versatility and is easy to install because it’s repositionable.”

Roland offers WallFlair Removable Fabric in 20-inch-by-50-foot, 30-inch-by-100-foot, and 54-inch-by-100-foot rolls.

Roland Fabrics 3New WallFlair Removable Vinyl (pictured, left) is a 6-mil matte, calendered, fire-retardant vinyl with acrylic, pressure-sensitive, ultra-removable adhesive, specially designed for retail locations and home décor wall graphic applications.

“This is an outstanding media for adding decorative touches to a store or a POP display,” noted Gederos.

WallFlair Vinyl can be applied to virtually any non-textured flat or painted wall surface, as well as most types of wallpaper and wood paneling. Its proprietary adhesive makes installation and removal a breeze, with no messy residue left behind when you take it down.

WallFlair ensures high color saturation and fine detail, allowing for the incorporation of stunning design elements.

It is available in 20-inch-by-50-foot, 30-inch-by-100-foot, and 54-inch-by-100-foot rolls.

All of Roland DGA’s new media products—including SoftSignWoven Polyester, WallFlair Removable Fabric and WallFlair Removable Vinyl—are profiled for VersaWorks RIP software and made for use with Roland’s advanced Eco-Sol MAX and Eco-Sol MAX 2 inks.
