New 90-watt LED Canopy Light Replaces Traditional 400-watt Metal Halide Light Fixtures

The LEDHCL-900 traditional LED canopy light from Larson Electronics offers high light output from a compact form factor and is designed to provide a more durable and long-lived alternative to halogen and metal halide units. This 90 watt LED light is designed to replace 400 watt metal halide wall packs and produces a wide flood beam without the high heat, fragile construction, or high energy costs of traditional lighting.

This traditional canopy light consists of an integrated LED assembly paired with a polycarbonate lens to produce a wide light distribution suitable for replacing 400 watt metal halide flood lights.

This LED ceiling-mount canopy light features a two-piece housing constructed of die-cast aluminum alloy with an injected molded rubber gasket resembling traditional style canopy fixtures.

This LED canopy light is designed to withstand demanding conditions and is IP65 waterproof and built to resist the damaging effects of an outdoor environment.

Four 1/2-inch NPT knockouts located on three sides and back of the fixture provide a secure and sealed power connection point and rounds out the unit’s weather resistant construction.

This LED canopy light is universal voltage and can be operated on a range of voltages from 100 volts to 277 volts AC providing versatile power options for all locations.

“Our new traditional style LED light is an ideal replacement for 400-watt metal halide fixtures and provides up to 87 percent savings in energy and maintenance costs,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larsonelectronics.com. “The traditional housing design helps maintain building aesthetics when replacing existing canopy style fixtures.”
