Avery_ISA_Booth_1_Fiat_Wrap_DemosVisitors to the Avery Dennison booth 2680 at the 2012 ISA Sign Expo experienced a gallery of work from graphics specialists around the United States. Avery Dennison® digital, opaque, transparent, and reflective films help designers and brands create a metamorphosis, transforming vehicles as well as interior and exterior spaces into effective marketing campaigns, inspirational areas or in-store environments.

The graphics in the Avery Dennison booth featured images from four unique projects completed with Avery Dennison’s graphics products.

APE Wraps worked with Team Radio Shack, founded by Lance Armstrong, to brand its U.S. fleet. More than 4,000 square feet of Avery Dennison MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™ and DOL 1360 gloss overlaminate were installed on the team’s vehicles and transporters.

The NHL’s Dallas Stars wanted to inspire the team’s players and turned to Inkjet International for new graphics throughout its practice facility, the Dr. Pepper Arena. Avery Dennison MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™ and DOL 1360 gloss overlaminate were the products of choice for images of kids playing pond hockey.

SuperGraphics couldn’t say no to an extreme makeover of its president’s alma mater, Ingraham High School. ESPN’s show, RISE UP, featured the transformation of a gym that had not been updated since it opened in 1959. SuperGraphics used a range of high quality Avery Dennison calendered films to transform the school’s athletic facility. Graphics of the school’s mascot, the ram, were installed on bleachers, floors and windows.

Avery_ISA_Booth_2_Skinz_Wraps_HelmetsAvery Dennison had two cars competing in the 2011 VEOLIA World Solar Challenge. TKO Graphics wrapped the University of Michigan’s Quantum solar car with Avery Dennison MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™. The Solar Team Twente car, 21Connect, was wrapped with Avery® Supreme Wrapping Film. Both teams finished the tough race in the top ten!

Visitors appreciated the opportunity to see the real-life applications highlighted in the booth. Many commented they learned new uses for Avery Dennison films and came away with fresh ideas for their customers.

The opportunity to see customers’ real-world work doesn’t end at the booth.  Avery Dennison features customer projects on its blog, every week. Print providers and graphics installers can also upload videos of applications or installations with Avery Dennison products in the “Share” section.

Avery_Dennison_3_ISA_BoothWrap demonstrations by Justin Pate, master wrap installer, were held four times each day with Avery MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS and DOL 1360 gloss overlaminate and Avery Supreme Wrapping Film on two Fiat 500s. Avery Dennison Conform Chrome, a soon to be released accent film, was applied to both vehicles and showed how a special shiny touch can be added to vehicle wraps. The wrap designs and floor graphics in the booth were created by Road Rage Designs, from Spring Grove, Illinois.

ISA Sign Expo attendees had the opportunity to vote on sixteen proposed new colors in the Avery Supreme Wrapping Film line. The votes are being tallied and six to eight new colors will be launched in the popular paint-replacement product line in the near future.

Several Avery Dennison digital media products were printed by OEM partners in their booths at the show, including EPSON America, Inc., HP, Mimaki USA, Inc., Mutoh America, Roland DGA Corp. and Seiko-Infotech Division.
