New Appointments: February 2012

GMG has hired Michael Farkas as marketing director at GMG GmbH & Co. KG where he will help GMG further realize the potential of its product range. Farkas previously worked for IKEA.

MaxLite has appointed Ross Pearson to Pacific Northwest district sales manager in its Commercial & Industrial Lighting Division. He will work closely with MaxLite’s independent lighting sales representatives to develop lighting programs for distributors, architects, engineers, ESCO companies, municipalities, DOTs, utilities, and other industry organizations. He will help develop new channels, provide extensive strong sales training and support, and help grow revenues for customers and specifiers throughout the eight states in his region. Prior to MaxLite, Pearson worked for US Lighting Tech, PSG Controls, and Hearth Technologies.

Panoply Finance has appointed Stephanie Canales director of Financial Services. Canales will be responsible for developing attractive and customized leasing programs for customers and manufacturer/partners. She will also oversee the company’s partnerships with banks throughout the US to ensure customers receive competitive rates, quick turnaround times, and flexible packages like lease consolidation. Canales has worked at Global Imaging since 2000 as a purchasing agent and then as the national account manager for Supplies Sales. Prior to Global Imaging, she worked for Mango Graphics and Photo Craft Laboratories. 

Signs by Tomorrow announces two new Franchise Advisory Council (FAC) representatives and a new member of the Marketing and Sales Task Force (MSTF). Don Eldridge has been appointed as FAC representative for the Central Region. Rob Kaun is the new FAC representative for the Northeast Region. The new FAC representatives will serve three-year terms with responsibilities that include approving franchisee programs and managing Signs By Tomorrow’s central advertising budget. Ed Henshaw has been appointed as the new MSTF member. He will serve a three-year term and assist in the development of marketing programs to facilitate franchisee success.

Ultraflex Systems welcomes Joe Leddy as the new territory sales manager. His Central US regional territory includes Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming. Leddy has twelve years of B2B sales experience, and he has previously managed all sales activity across an eleven-state territory for multiple manufacturers in the grand format printing industry.
