2/90 Sign Systems, a leader in solution-based architectural signage, has named Michael Herweyer as its new president. Herweyer started at 2/90 Sign Systems as a part cutter 27 years ago and moved up the ranks. Herweyer will be responsible for the leadership team and aligning the organization for future growth.

Gravotech announces Big City Manufacturing in the Houston, Texas area as a new distributor. Gravograph customers will have access to faster shipping and personalized service in Texas.

GSG welcomes Merissa Mesle as vice president of human resources. In her new position, she is responsible for overseeing personnel functions at GSG and is tasked with strategic human resource planning to provide GSG with the best employee talent. Mesle also will be managing associate benefits and policies, as well as communicating the company’s strategic goals to personnel. She brings more than ten years of experience in human resouces and staffing to her new position.

Universal Lighting Technologies has hired Greg Wells as a field application engineer for the Midwest region of the US. In his new role, Wells will act as the field technical resource contact, supporting Solid State Lighting (LED) systems and products in the Midwest. Wells has worked in the architecture field for three years and within the lighting industry for two.
