IL BACCO, an Italian Restaurant Landmark has a whole new look. The restaurant recently re-opened in Little Neck, Queens, New York at 253-24 Northern Boulevard. To create an elegant and unique design, IL BACCO retained Goldman Design Group (www.goldmandesigngroup.com) of Greenwich, Connecticut.

Goldman Design Group used 2ND AVE (www.2ndave.com) light fixtures to accomplish its design goal. “We wanted to integrate a Tuscan look with the glitz of Vegas that would offer a welcoming Italian atmosphere,” says Sheila Goldman of Goldman Design Group.  “We used six large 2ND AVE  Custom Pendants to convey this look over the main level dining area, as well as five Custom Amber pendants over the bar, and stunning decorative wall sconces, integrating Faux Alabaster, Amber Mica and fabric designs, installed throughout the restaurant.”

The restaurant is owned by local celebrity and restaurateur Giuseppe Oppedisano. The new restaurant specializes in Continental Italian cuisine, including brick oven pizza. It beholds three levels of dining space, including a rooftop restaurant, and a party room on the second level for catered affairs for special occasions in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

“The new IL BACCO is a dream come true with the menu, chef, and interior décor that exceeds all of my expectations,” says Oppedisano.
