MACtac® Graphic Products announces the addition of one of the industry’s widest laminates, PermaGard® PG7285XL, to its premier line of PERMACOLOR® pressure-sensitive overlaminates. PERMACOLOR PermaGard PG7285XL is an ultra-wide matte overlaminate at 79 inches by 164 feet that can be used for interior and exterior signage, murals, point-of-purchase (POP) displays, and wide format graphics requiring protection from ultraviolet (UV) light, weather, and scuffing.
As the newest addition to the PermaGard overlaminate portfolio, ultra-wide PermaGard PG7285XL joins MACtac’s LF656079 gloss and LF655079 matte ultra-wide 79-inch intermediate vinyl overlaminates, replacing MACtac’s current PERMACOLOR IP7286 overlaminate.
“PermaGard PG7285XL offers our customers a variety of upgrades including a solvent-based permanent acrylic adhesive, a change in the liner color from yellow to white, and a roll width increase,” said Mary Ann Kucera, marketing manager, MACtac Graphic Products. “In addition, the matte finish helps to reduce glare to improve readability of the print.”
MACtac’s PermaGard PG7285XL is an economical, repositionable, 2.75-mil, non-reflective vinyl film coated on one side with a clear acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. Featuring a white paper liner, it protects the adhesive and offers easy liner removal.
PermaGard PG7285XL is intended for use over UV, solvent, eco-solvent and latex wide-format prints.
