GraphExpo_2012_LogoThe Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC), producer of GRAPH EXPO—the largest annual exposition of digital, offset and hybrid printing technologies, equipment, products and services in the Americas—announces an expanded In-Plant Education Track for the event coming October 7-10, 2012 to Chicago’s McCormick Place. As part of its ongoing evolution focused on providing value to show goers and exhibitors in twelve individual market segments, the expanded education and networking opportunities offered for this segment creates yet another compelling reason to attend this fall.

In a recent independent in-plant survey, 78 percent of respondents said they would attend GRAPH EXPO if there were strong in-plant education and segment-specific networking events.

According to GASC President Ralph Nappi, “We believed the time was right to create a robust education track at GRAPH EXPO to specifically address the needs of in-plant and corporate print centers.

“Because these operations often cross segments—such as transactional print, packaging, mailing and fulfillment, and wide format—and our show brings them all together, we have a unique opportunity to provide for in-plants a variety of opportunities to get everything they need to be successful in the future at this year’s event.”

In-house and corporate print centers provide their organizations with a variety of services, from printing, to mailing and fulfillment, multi-channel marketing, and more. Some estimates place the number of in-plant operations as greater than the number of commercial print establishments, and their purchasing power is significant. These entities cross many vertical markets, including Education (Universities and K-12), Government, Healthcare, Finance and Insurance, Retail, Enterprise, Manufacturing, and more. By partnering with exhibitors such as Rochester Software Associates (RSA), a variety of the key associations and publications, and in-plants themselves, GASC has created a dynamic set of offerings for this year’s show, including:

* Headliner event with successful peer-chosen in-plant managers who will discuss their secrets of success

* New in-plant education track with sessions covering rebranding, growth strategies, in-plant ingenuity and multi-channel offerings

* An in-plant networking hub on the expo floor hosted by IPMA

* In-Plant Graphics luncheon

* RSA inaugural WebCRD web-to-print user group

* IPMA In-plant certification examinations

* Xplor conference

* Imaging Network Group Conference, and

* More events soon to be announced.

With live equipment demonstrations from among the more than 450 exhibitors, in-plant focused education, information on new business diversification opportunities, the growing roster of forty-five co-located industry events, learning, and networking opportunities in the Marketing Pavilion, plus dedicated networking space for the duration of the show, GRAPH EXPO offers all of the tools that can help corporate print managers stay current, make informed purchasing decisions, and benchmark and learn from other successful in-plant managers.
