Arkansas State U. Adds Daktronics LED Displays on Stadium Blvd.

Arkansas State University (ASU) has partnered with Daktronics of Brookings, South Dakota, to provide three new LED video displays outside the Red Wolves’ home for football, Liberty Bank Stadium, in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

The displays are arranged in a triangular formation on the corner of East Johnson Avenue and Stadium Boulevard to allow for additional event promotion with dates and times, as well as potential advertising and sponsorship opportunities.

“The new three-sided display brings new opportunities to keep our fans informed of events happening on campus as well as providing additional advertising space for our sponsors,” said Arkansas State Athletic Director Terry Mohajir. “Daktronics worked with us to address our needs with these displays, and we’re excited to have them up and running to promote upcoming campus events.”

All three displays feature 16 millimeter line spacing and measure six feet high by more than fourteen feet wide. They incorporate excellent image clarity and contrast as well as providing multiple levels of protection from the elements. The wide-angle visibility of the displays will generate a large appeal to people passing by.

In addition to the equipment installation, ASU also received a bank of hours for the creation of digital content to be produced and delivered by Daktronics Creative Services. This content will consist of any mixture of venue announcements and messages at the request of ASU.

“Daktronics is proud to continue our long-standing partnership with Arkansas State University,” said Andrew Rice, Daktronics sales representative. “Their new marquee is state-of-the-art and keeps them on the cutting edge of technology. We look forward to the continued partnership with ASU.”

Daktronics LED video and messaging display technology offers a long lifetime with minimal maintenance and low power consumption, providing value and excitement for years to come.
