New Appointments: May 2014

Advantage Sign & Graphic Solutions has promoted Matt Wilson to media specialist in the Product Development department. Wilson will work closely with media vendors to provide superior support both internally and externally, provide end user application guidance, and help support the growth of Advantage’s consumable portfolio. Wilson has been with Advantage since 2006 as technical support and has been involved in the sign industry for over thirty years.

Fulham Co., Inc. has appointed Mike Bauer as vice president of Global Sales. Bauer has twenty-six years of experience in the lighting industry, and he most recently worked for CREE as global vice president of Lighting Sales.

Global Imaging has added Russell Fernandez, David Shaw, and Bryan Lebsack to its technical services and support team. Fernandez previously worked for Teckwin International and EFI/VUTEk as a service engineer and technical support technician. Lebsack is a former Global Imaging technical service specialist who most recently ran his own FASTSIGNS franchise in Maryland. Shaw has been a field technician for several years and has worked for Chess, Inc and Mile High Engineering/Pitman. He has extensive experience working with HP products.

MaxLite has appointed Donille Perrone to director of Marketing. Perrone will continue to build the MaxLED® by MaxLite brand presence in a broad range of market segments while identifying new opportunities. She will lead a team of marketing professionals and oversee all marketing initiatives. She previously worked for companies including Bel-Art Products and Bulbrite Industries.

Mutoh America, Inc. has appointed Brian Phipps as vice president and general manager. He will oversee the continued growth of both North and Latin American sales and operations. He was previously general manager of Mutoh America and has worked for the company since 2004.

Roland DG Corporation has added to its global management team. Marc Margetts has been appointed president of the Asia-Pacific region, and he will also continue to serve as CEO of Roland DG Australia. John Wall has been promoted to president of Roland DG Australia Pty. Ltd., and Michael Man has been named president of Roland DG (China) Corporation. The announcement comes as Roland DG continues to execute its GlobalOne plan designed to strengthen the corporation’s leadership positions in the markets it serves around the world.

Universal Lighting Technologies has named Salvatore Manganaro as regional distribution sales manager for the Northeast US. In his new role, Manganaro will be responsible for growing the northeast distribution channel by managing and supporting agents and distributors. Additionally, he will be implementing new programs designed to introduce the latest products and increase sales. He brings more than a decade of experience in the electrical industry to his new position. Universal has also named Benjamin Koelbl to the OEM Sales Team as field applications engineer for the Western region of the United States. Koelbl will act as the field technical resource contact, supporting Solid State Lighting (LED) systems and products. He brings over six years of experience in field applications engineering to his new position.
