LaserBits is part of supporting the Sensitive Santa program this year in Phoenix, Arizona. This program was inspired by the Autism Network of the West Valley, together with TEAM 4 Kids and the Autism Academy.
The program is a Sensory Inspired Santa Experience for Kids with Special Needs and provides a supportive environment which eliminates bright lights and loud noises that can trigger sensory sensitivities for someone on the spectrum. Each child taking their picture with Santa receives one-on-one time with the holiday icon in a private area that is modestly decorated. Just because a child is on the autism spectrum doesn’t mean they should be denied this experience during the Christmas season.
