Avery Dennison Certifies Fourteen Car Wrap Installers

Avery Dennison® Graphics Solutions announced today that fourteen vehicle wrap installers and graphics professionals passed the wrap certification test administered by Justin Pate, an expert installer and Avery Dennison wrap training instructor. To be certified as an Avery Dennison Certified Wrap Installer (CWI), applicants must pass a test that includes five modules: a written exam, hands-on vehicle wrap installation demonstration on the hood, fender door/window, and a cutting test.

“The Avery Dennison CWI community is an elite group of professional car wrap installers with demonstrated skills and techniques,” said Roxanne McSpadden, marketing director, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions. “We’re proud to support our   Certified Wrap Installers with marketing and advertising support through the CWI Marketing Kit and the Find an Installer tool on the Graphics Web site.”

“The Avery Dennison wrap certification exam is rigorous,” said Pate. “Installers who pass the exam are at the top in the industry and should proudly display their certification.” The Avery Dennison CWI network now includes the following full service vehicle wrap professionals.

“Becoming an Avery Dennison Certified Wrap Installer was important to me as a business owner because it differentiates us from our competition. The certification process is a challenging one, so the CWI designation has significant meaning,” said Keith Monahan, president of TechnoSigns Corporation. “When prospective clients see the CWI logo, they know they are selecting the best of the best. They can have confidence that their wrap will be installed to the highest standards; and that translates to higher sales for my business.”

The Avery Dennison Find an Installer Web tool helps prospective customers easily locate a certified installer in the U.S. and Canada and view photos of wraps the installer has completed. There are no fees associated with the tool or the CWI program.

There are eight remaining wrap certification tests scheduled from August through October 2015. Many vehicle wrap installers take the one-day exam following the two-day Avery Dennison/Mutoh School of Wrap or one-day Supreme Wrapping Film Workshop.
