Brand Imaging Group Wraps Drum Kit for Super Bowl Halftime Show

Brand Imaging Group was chosen by Pearl Drums to wrap a custom drum kit created for Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith to play during the Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show, which will be broadcast on FOX from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on Sunday, February 2, 2014.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers and the NFL announced earlier this week that the drum set custom built by Pearl Drums that Smith will play during the Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show is up for auction at NFL Auction (www.nfl.com/auction) to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Auction closes February 7, 2014.

The drum kit is a custom built “Limited Edition” series Pearl Drum set that includes limited edition Sabian Cymbals. After the show, the kit will be broken into two drum sets—an AFC kit and an NFC kit. Both the AFC and NFC drum sets will be auctioned off to benefit Make-A-Wish to help grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Both the AFC and NFC kits feature all of their respective conference team logos. The Clear Plexiglas Pearl Drum Set features a custom drum wrap provided by Brand Imaging Group and a lighting package provided by Drumlite.

The Pepsi Super Bowl halftime show is the most-watched musical event of the year. More than 110.5 million viewers in the U.S. watched last year’s show. The Super Bowl and halftime show will be broadcast worldwide.
