The new backlit film is a gloss-coated polyester designed to produce vibrant light box graphics. It also looks great without backlighting for other display applications.
Compatible with dye and pigmented inks, it's water-resistant with pigmented inks and emulates the popular KODAK DURATRANS Display Material from continuous-tone machines. For smooth production and installation, KODAK Universal Backlit Film, Glossy / 8 mil is relatively heavy and rigid, making it durable and easy to work with in production.
"There has been a lot of demand in the market for this product. Print shops need a simple solution that addresses a number of different backlit and non-backlit display applications, from trade show to retail graphics, with a glossy finish that really pops. Kodak's new glossy backlit answers this demand," says CJ Forker of Brand Management Group.
KODAK Universal Backlit Film, Glossy / 8 mil is available through BMG's worldwide re-seller network in 24-, 36-, 42-, 50-, and 60-inch widths.
