Signarama_logoSIGNARAMA has launced the new initiative “SIGNARAMA Salutes Our Veterans,” which supports returning military members seeking to start a SIGNARAMA franchise.

As part of the program, the company will waive the franchise fee for one qualified US military veteran, making it easier for them to start their own business. The saving is estimated at up to $40,000.

“My father served 22 years as a US Marine and I recognize and personally appreciate what our military personnel have done,” said “JT” Jim Tatem, president of SIGNARAMA. “At SIGNARAMA our goal is to help veterans transition back into civilian life and through our unique initiative we hope to make someone’s dream of owning their own company a reality.”

To participate, veterans can visit www.signarama.com/veterans and submit an application to be considered for $40,000 towards the franchise fee of a new SIGNARAMA store. Applications must be received by June 30.

In addition to this new program, SIGNARAMA also offers a VetFran program in which it offers discounts off the franchise fee based on years of military experience:

  • 1-4 years: 10% discount
  • 4-10 years: 25% discount
  • 10 or more years: 50% discount

Many veterans have already found great success as a SIGNARAMA franchisee and achieved their dreams of business ownership. As part of the new program, SIGNARAMA is also encouraging its franchisees to hire veterans to join the workplace in their stores across the country to help even more former military members find job opportunities.
