Updated: Semper International Opens its Print Industry Insight Survey for Senior Executives

Semper International announces that it is extending involvement in its Industry Insight Survey, as it opens participation for its Q2 2016 survey. Since February 2003, to help provide critical benchmark data for executives, Semper International has provided a quarterly survey offering estimates of trends in the printing and graphics industries. Semper has provided this as a free service, and the company is happy to continue investing in this, as it provides primary research data on overall health and sales, which is not available anywhere else.

Survey participants typically include more than 300 small, medium, and large printing companies. Participants provide data on revenue and hiring as well as estimated outlooks on future trends.

The survey offers quarterly insight into sales, strategic, and hiring trends within print and marketing companies. With more than ten years of trending data, the Semper survey is very useful in helping businesses understand trends that affect forecasting and planning.

However, executive input and feedback is vital to the success of the survey—and the more people who participate, the more accurate the survey is.

“Semper created the Industry Insight Survey to give back to those who have supported our company. However, the study wouldn’t be what it is, without their help,” comments David Regan, Semper CEO. “The results of our survey help industry executives understand the trends that affect daily and long-term strategic decisions. I would like to invite senior business managers who have yet to play a part, to get involved in our quarterly survey, examining sales, hiring and spending habits to see how the economy is treating companies in our industry.

“With their help, we can all understand the current opportunities and challenges that exist.”

“Participating in the study is certainly an altruistic action in that it helps other companies get a better view of where the industry is trending; not only in economic terms, but in investments and viewing opportunity areas,” adds Regan. “However, I would like to think that the quick survey helps executives step back and consider how their businesses are performing and where they see strategic opportunities for themselves. It’s why many companies return to participate every quarter.”

Because Semper understands that executive time is valuable, the survey is designed to take only five minutes of time. Also important is that, to preserve confidentiality, individual company information is never part of the tabulation. All data is confidential, and no one is ever identified in any report. Those who participate will receive a complimentary report from last quarter, the Semper International 1Q16 Economic Insight Report. They will also get exclusive access to Semper’s final Insight Report a full week before it is offered to the general public.

To participate in the survey, executives can either email [email protected] or visit www.cvent.com/d/dfqcx0?refid=pr. Semper will be collecting data until April 22.
