Universal Expands Everline LED Retrofit Kit Product Family

Universal Lighting Technologies, Inc. recently announced the addition of a three-lamp kit and a 347V option for the EVERLINE® LED Retrofit Kit product line. The expanding line of LED linear replacement options provides even greater flexibility for fluorescent luminaire retrofits to LED.

The EVERLINE LED Retrofit Kit serves as a fluorescent lighting replacement kit, reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs. The two- or four-foot kit consists of either two or now three LED lensed modules, one LED driver, and a harness packaged together with replacement instructions.

The LED Retrofit Kit makes it fast and easy to transform traditional fluorescent lighting to efficient LED technology with a simple installation process. The in-house power electronic, thermal and optical design of the complete EVERLINE “matched” system of modules and drivers assures optimum performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

“LED technology provides a superior alternative to fluorescent lighting in a range of commercial spaces, and we are constantly at work to produce new options with greater efficiencies for our customers,” said Stephanie Boyle, director of product management for the LED fixture lines. “With the EVERLINE Retrofit Kits, we’re able to offer yet another linear LED replacement solution. These LED linear solutions can reduce energy consumption by 35 percent or more over traditional fluorescent.”

For the two-foot lamp kits, the 2-lamp and 3-lamp configurations will be offered in a 3,000-lumen package. Additionally, Universal is introducing a new 4,500-lumen package for the 3-lamp kit, which uses a new higher density LED module for more light output. For the four-foot lamp kits, the 2-lamp and 3-lamp configurations will be offered in the same two-lumen packages (4,600 lumens and 6,000 lumens).

The new kits feature improved aesthetics in parabolic troffers or fixtures with an offset ballast channel.

“The four-foot kits will result in higher module efficiencies when operated at lower currents. This may, in turn, lead to higher rebates,” Boyle stated. “Plus, 99 percent of our EVERLINE LED Retrofit Kits are DesignLights Consortium listed, which makes it easier for end users to qualify for utility rebate programs.”

Universal offers one of the broadest selections of 347V retrofit kits, providing more options when designing LED lighting. The majority of the EVERLINE LED Retrofit Kit line is now available in 347V operating voltage.
