Roland Announces Vehicle Graphics Contest Winners

Irvine, California—PJ Brassard of LogosPrint.com in Albany, New York, has won the grand prize for the first-ever Roland Wrap Vehicle Graphics Contest, a North American competition for the best Scion xB vehicle graphics design.

Brassard’s winning design, a multi-colored graphic entitled “Roland Innovation,” was selected from more than 400 entries received by the July 31 contest deadline.  As the grand prize winner, Brassard has been awarded a brand new VersaCAMM SP-300V thirty-inch inkjet printer/cutter and an expense-paid trip to Las Vegas for the SGIA ‘06 conference September 26-29. As an added bonus, Brassard’s design will be featured in the Roland SGIA exhibit throughout the show on the company’s official Scion xB.

“I’m so excited and overwhelmed to be the winner,” Brassard said.  “Roland has just made our year.  Our SOLJET has been a great production tool, and I can’t wait to begin working with my new VersaCAMM.”

Involved in graphic design since childhood, PJ Brassard holds a BFA degree from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, and is a junior partner with Albany-based LogosPrint.com.  Opened in 2005 as a division of local marketing firm Logos Marketing, Inc., LogosPrint.com specializes in the creation of signage and other large-format graphics. In August 2006, LogosPrint.com launched 87 Pro Wraps, a new division focused on the fast-growing vehicle graphics market.  The company has been a Roland customer since its inception, anchoring its production environment with the high-performance Roland SOLJET fifty-four-inch printer/cutter.
