The International Sign Association announces that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued new guidelines allowing essential workers who have been exposed to Covid-19 to return to work. The guidelines apply to workers in sixteen key areas who have been exposed to Covid-19 but do not show symptoms.
The guidance suggests these workers not share equipment that is used near the face and mouth (such as headsets) and physical distance from other employees. Employers should increase cleaning frequency.
Some cities and states have deemed sign and graphics companies as essential manufacturers. Other companies are able to pursue essential business designation by using this template and providing this letter for employees.
