Special Opportunity for Sign Companies Looking to Grow LED Sign Business

Daktronics of Brookings, S.D., will host its 36th annual Sales Expo event on Sept. 18-20 at its corporate headquarters. The only event of its kind in the LED sign industry, Sales Expo provides sign companies a chance to learn from experts through hands-on activities, presentations and networking opportunities.

Tuition for Sales Expo is free, with meals included. Keynoting the event will be Steve Clark, aka “The Sales Psychologist,” known internationally for his expertise and sales training and marketing consulting.

Taylor Nilson, On-Premise Market Manager for Daktronics, shared the value attendees for the event have found over the years.

“This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity. Every year, I’m amazed by what sign companies achieve after taking a couple days to intensely focus on their LED sign business,” Nilson shared. “The most valuable and irreplaceable component is the collaboration that takes place between the sign companies themselves and the experts that they get to know personally.”

Culminating the event is a banquet, with the awarding of the Sign Design Contest winner. A competition among Sales Expo attendees, the winner is chosen by fellow attendees of Sales Expo.

After the event concludes, interested individuals can opt to participate in a pheasant hunt or a golfing outing in the Brookings area.

Sales Expo is an event of Daktronics, with assistance from a sign company advisory board comprised of Scott Bertrand, Colortech of Wisconsin; Craig Breitsprecher, La Crosse Sign Company; Daryl Kirt, Scenic Sign Corporation; and Kyle Thompson, Mack Thompson & Son, Inc.
