Agfa Graphics to Feature New Titan S and HS Wide-Format Printing System at Sign Expo 2014

Digital inkjet printing will take a great leap forward with the new wide-format Jeti Titan S and HS printing systems. The Jeti Titan HS makes its U.S. debut at the International Sign Association’s Sign Expo later this month in Orlando.

Agfa Graphics will feature its latest UV inkjet printing devices, along with many other engines – including professional-grade and desktop 3D printing systems – media and software, at its Sign Expo booth (#1736). Sign Expo runs April 24th through the 26th, and is being held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

The new 126-inch Jeti Titan S (speed) and HS (high-speed) flatbed UV-inkjet printers combine exceptional print quality and high productivity at a best-in-industry price point. The engines incorporate the latest generation 1,280-nozzle Ricoh Gen 5 print heads. The Jeti Titan S is equipped with one row of print heads and is field-upgradeable to two rows to increase productivity The Jeti Titan HS comes with two rows of print heads. The Jeti Titan S and HS are ideal for high-value work like POP viewed at close range or for the high-level art, fashion, and cosmetics markets.

The Agfa Graphics Sign Expo Booth #1736 will feature a “Quality Viewing Station” so attendees can match inkjet performance to their market needs. The Quality Viewing Station is set up to examine graphic output produced in a variety of standards, from high-definition to express modes, on the Titan engine at five set distances. Attendees will see first hand the quality and speed performance that the company’s UV inkjet systems can achieve.

The booth will also feature the company’s inkjet-created application zone known as “The House of Asanti.” Named for Agfa Graphics’ sign and display PDF workflow Asanti, “The House of Asanti” features six rooms across two floors of both artistic
and practical inkjet output, including fine art, musical instruments, light fixtures, furniture, doors and more.

“Agfa Graphics’ objective is to showcase our inkjet capabilities while sparking the imagination of attendees,” said Deborah Hutcheson, director of Marketing, Agfa Graphics, North America. “The House of Asanti is a lot artsy and a bit practical but most of all, it inspires new ways for PSPs to broaden their inkjet services.”

In addition to the Asanti workflow, Asanti StoreFront, the cloud-based web-to-print solution that enables print service providers (PSPs) to set up web stores will also be demonstrated. The newest release of Asanti StoreFront, version 1.3, makes it easier for print buyers to customize print.
