Contra Vision See-through Graphics Provide Greater Opportunity for Campaign Integration

Callaway Golf is continuing to see the benefit of reinforcing its latest product promotions with see-through graphics. Callaway Golf wanted to transform the entrance window at their European Headquarters to support the launch of their new Callaway XR range of equipment.

By applying Contra Vision® see-through graphics, Callaway were able to maintain the internal lighting and general ambience of the main entrance while also utilizing the large window as a promotional canvas for their latest product launch. The unique nature of Contra Vision® one-way technologies ensure that graphics maximise their impact outside, by combining scale and location, yet the environment behind the graphics is as unaffected as possible.

However, the installation was not without its challenges. Time was of the essence as the area to which the graphic is applied is the main entry into the building allowing access for staff and customers, the installation had to be completed as efficiently as possible while minimising any unnecessary or preventable disruption.

The installation was made more challenging by the weather conditions at the time, but as Kevin Willis Business Development Director at All Signs commented, “From our experience Contra Vision is extremely adaptable and effective to install all year round regardless of weather conditions allowing us to install efficiently all year round.”

When asked why they had chosen a 20 percent transparency over other transparencies, Willis responded, “A great deal of consideration was taken when selecting which Contra Vision product to choose while working closely with the client to ensure all of their requirements were met. We had to balance optimising a strong visual impact to be clearly seen from the adjacent commuter road, while maintaining the open environment of the internal reception area.“

The graphic will be displayed for approximately twelve months to coincide with the launch of Callaway’s new XR range, although fingers crossed a successful Callaway outcome in The Open Championship in July would ensure a new creative execution to celebrate.
