OKI Data Americas at Print 13

OKI Data Americas will debut a number of new products and solutions at the Print 13 tradeshow and conference taking place September 8-12, 2013 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. There in booth 4219, OKI will unveil its revolutionary new C941dn digital color printer featuring an industry-first LED five station toner configuration with cyan, magenta, yellow and black, plus white or clear in the fifth position, together with extensive media handling capabilities. In addition, OKI will demonstrate the expanded range of transfer printing capabilities of the C711WT and pro920WT– now including leather and ceramic in addition to other textiles and hard surfaces.

Part of OKI’s new C900 Series of three A3 models, the C941dn offers game-changing media handling capabilities that include transparent media, magnets, banners and heavyweight cardstock – all within a single, compact unit and supported by an optional EFI® Fiery® XF server.

Another of the C900 Series units making its debut at Print 13 is the C931dn– an LED digital color printer designed for large workgroups and office use. The C931dn offers full color, high resolution printing capabilities, and handles a wide range of media for maximum output flexibility at a low total cost of ownership (TCO). It, too, supports an optional EFI Fiery XF server.

The commercial-grade OKI pro920WT continues to revolutionize textile transfer printing, delivering custom output quickly and easily with its ability to print in full color – including white. The pro920WT will be demonstrated along with the 711WT desktop A4 digital color printer also featuring white toner. Together, these units deliver unique, high-impact and cost-effective transfer printing solutions for an ever-increasing array of specialty applications.

These two printers offer speed, accuracy, size format, and color output plus white. What makes these printers even more appealing is their ability to produce custom output on demand – whether one piece or thousands of pieces. Thanks to an expanding range of professional-grade transfer media approved for use with these devices, users can now print to textiles including leather, and hard surfaces including ceramics.

Other printers from the OKI proColor™ Series  being demonstrated at Print 13 include the high-quality pro900DP digital envelope press that delivers full color output with variable data and variable graphics in a single pass, and the fast, short-run pro511DW digital web press– now featuring variable data support. Variable data support expands the unit’s capabilities and market acceptance with the ability to print sequential numbers, serial numbers, date codes, barcodes and other labeling applications.

“OKI looks forward to Print 13 and the introduction of several impressive new products and solutions to the graphic arts and commercial printing markets,” said Rich Egert, General Manager of the Strategic Technology Provider Business Group for OKI Data Americas. “The expansion of our portfolio to include such pioneering products as the C941dn five-station LED color printer, the broader range of transfer printing capabilities of the pro920WT and C711WT, and the addition of variable data support on the pro511DW further underscore OKI’s market leadership and commitment to printing innovation.”

New pricing and financing options on certain models will be offered at Print 13.
