Only Two Contenders Remain Standing in the 3M Wrap2Wrap Battle

From coast to coast, an epic battle of artistic talent has unfolded online, as graphics installers have put their unique skills and expertise with 3M™ Wrap Film Series 1080 to the test while competing in the second annual 3M Wrap2Wrap Battle. Since August, graphics installers have battled through four consecutive rounds to determine the finalists from the East and West regions that will spar in a head-to-head live wrap competition Thursday, November 5, at the 2015 SEMA Show.

The second annual 3M Wrap2Wrap Battle drew impressive entries from graphics installers across the United States. Many exemplary projects were submitted, showcasing a wide array of talent, and finalists were selected from a combination of public votes and expert judging through the four rounds. Casey Folk of PDX Wraps and Jamie Mullican of WrapArtist.com will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2015 SEMA Show to compete in a head-to-head battle on Thursday, November 5, taking place in the 3M booth #12145. During this final round, Folk and Mullican will team up with 3M Preferred Graphics Installers in a wrap battle live on the SEMA Show floor. A panel of celebrity and expert judges will help determine the 2015 champion, including:

  • Rutledge Wood, Co-Host of Top Gear and Lost in Transmission
  • Jeremy McGrath, AMA Supercross Champion
  • “Hot Rod Ali” Youngblood, Hot Rod Race Car Driver
  • Steve Hargitai, 2014 Wrap2Wrap Winner
  • Adam Sumner, 3M Authorized Trainer

“For the second year in a row, we have been absolutely blown away by the display of talent, artistry, and craftsmanship showcased within the 3M Wrap2Wrap Battle entries,” said Janelle Pizzi, product marketer, 3M Commercial Solutions. “Not only did Folk and Mullican win the votes of the public, but also the respect and recognition from industry experts and their fellow wrap artists. We can’t wait to see the showdown between these phenomenal contestants take place in just a few weeks.”
