SloanLED Unveils New 60C1 Power Supply for the Sign Industry

SloanLED, leaders in LED technology, has announced the launch of the 60C1 12VDC 60 Watt Power Supply. The 60C1 is SloanLED’s most versatile and economical power supply for driving LED sign lighting products, delivering the latest power supply technology in a rugged, compact and energy efficient design.

The 60C1 is currently available from SloanLED North American distributors, with international availability in Q4, 2015.

The 60C1 is extremely flexible, featuring wide-ranging universal input voltage—from 100-277VAC—and UL recognition for dry/damp locations. Active power conversion improves reliability and energy efficiency over current offerings.

The 60C1 works with all SloanLED 12VDC LED sign products and is designed specifically with sign installers in mind, incorporating innovations that speed installation and reduce labor costs. It eliminates the need to replace fuses or to reset a circuit breaker by auto resetting after an electrical short is corrected. Secondary hook-ups are easy and don’t require a minimum load, dip switches, or load balancing. The unit’s modular design saves additional costs by allowing installers to combine units together within an enclosure to utilize a single primary power connection.

“Reducing labor, maintenance, and energy costs for our customers is a top priority,” said Steve Shotwell, President & CEO of SloanLED. “SloanLED’s proven reliability and investments in power supply technology, coupled with its value-based pricing ensure that the 60C1 will significantly decrease those costs.”

60C1 Power Supply is UL and cUL Recognized, TÜV and CE Certified, UL Classified for field retrofits, and RoHS and WEEE compliant.
