Texas to Play Host World’s Largest HD Video Board

It may very well be true that “everything is bigger in Texas”—especially when it comes to LED displays.

The Texas Motor Speedway has plans to install the world’s largest HD video display (featuring 4.8 million pixels and up to 281 trillion colors). The 1080p Panasonic display is scheduled to measure more than 20,666 square feet and is even 79 percent larger than the LED display installed at AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys).

Currently, this tech behemoth (called “Big Hoss”) is planned to be fully operational next season.
