New Appointments: April 2016-II

American Biltrite Inc. Tape Products Division has added Beth Dillon as western territory manager. Dillon has a solid foundation of industry expertise in both Graphics and Industrial applications and is a seasoned professional.

Halco Lighting Technologies has appointed three new sales agencies. Electrical Materials Incorporated (EMI) will provide sales coverage for Michigan. McGee Company will cover the Southern California area, and Robert Amey will provide coverage for parts of the Northwest region.

Mimaki USA announces a number of organizational changes. Yasuhiro Haba is now president and will be responsible for the leadership of Mimaki throughout the Americas. Haba previously served as Sales Division Deputy General Manager for Mimaki Engineering JP Division (Japan), and will relocate to the Mimaki USA Western region office. He succeeds Masaaki Fujita, who is now Senior Managing Director, Mimaki Engineering (Japan). Ken VanHorn has been appointed vice president, Marketing and Operations, Mimaki USA. Naoya Kawagoshi remains vice president, Sales, Mimaki USA covering the United States and Canada. Koji Imoto remains vice president, Export, Mimaki USA covering Mexico, the Caribbean and South America (with the exception of Brazil). Shinsuke Oota has been appointed general manager, Service, Americas. A newly formed Mimaki USA Business Planning Division has also been created, which will be responsible for sales and operations in the Americas. In addition, the US sales group moves to a regional structure with Carmen Pacella as western region manager; Ross Esenberg as midwest region manager, Chicago; Mike Trotter as northeast region manager; and Scott Champeau as southern region manager.

Novus Imaging, Inc. has acquired Redwood Technologies, LLC, a research and development firm specializing in cutting-edge industrial inkjet printer design and manufacturing. The purchase will better serve the needs of NOVUS from an ongoing R&D and manufacturing standpoint, and will further boost the company’s intellectual property position. NOVUS gains an impressive line of digital inkjet engine designs configurable to drive most industrial print head models – the Nemesis and Lycos print engines and patented methods for backlit imaging and printing with binary fluids. The purchase gives NOVUS access to an established manufacturing facility, other assets and intellectual property, and fits into NOVUS’ strategy to continue to innovate and advance the industry.

Roland DGA Corporation has made a number of key changes in its sales organization. Tony Miller, previously director of Sales, Strategic Accounts for Roland DGA, has been promoted and will now oversee all of Roland’s regional sales managers for the U.S. region. Miller and his team will be responsible for supporting all of Roland’s product lines in the U.S., which includes digital printers, dental products and 3D devices, as well as managing the channel partners that sell those products. Grant Davis, who formerly served as Roland DGA’s National Accounts Manager, has been promoted to National Sales Manager, and will lead a newly-formed business development team focusing on existing national accounts and new business throughout the U.S. Matt Owens and Daryl Chaffins, previously business development managers for Roland DGA’s UV product line, have also been promoted and will now serve as national account managers. Owens and Chaffins will devote their efforts to developing new business opportunities for all of the company’s products. Joe Menis was also recently hired to serve as Roland DGA’s Business Development Manager for the textile market.
